The Emporia State soccer team has moved up to 6th place in this weeks regional rankings.
Central Missouri remains the top ranked team in the Central region.
Minnesota State, Concorida St. Paul, Augustana and Northeastern State are ranked ahead of Emporia State.
Bemidji State, Central Oklahoma and Mary round out the top 9.
The Lady Hornets open MIAA tournament play Friday when they host Northwest Missouri State. Emporia State Coach Bryan Sailer says they still have some goals they want to reach.
Kick-off is set for 2pm on the ESU soccer pitch.
