The Emporia State womens basketball team was out scored by Kansas 66-55 in their final exhibition game Sunday.
The game did feature 3 ties and 6 lead changes.
Emporia States biggest lead was by 2. KUs biggest lead was by 15.
Tre’Zure Jobe scored a team high 13 points to lead Emporia State.
Mollie Mounsey added 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Morgan Laudan finished with 11 points.
Coach Toby Wynn was pleased with the defensive effort, forcing 25 turnovers.
Kansas was led by Bailey Helgren and Tina Stephens with 15 points each.
The Lady Hornets open the season Friday when they play Harding in a GAC/MIAA Challenge in Searcy, Arkansas.
