The Emporia State soccer team closed out the regular season with a 1-0 win over Nebraska Kearney in overtime Sunday.
MacKenzie Dimarco scored the lone goal in the 95th minute of play. It was her 18th goal of the season, a new school record.
The Lady Hornets out shot the Lopers 19-2 and 9-0 on goal.
Emporia State finishes the regular season with a record of 12-4-2 and 7-2-2 in the MIAA.
They will be the number 3 seed in the MIAA tournament and will host a match this Friday.
