High School football playoffs begin this week for all 8 classifications.
Emporia High will be hosting Newton in the first round Friday night. Emporia High Coach Corby Milleson says they are playing at a high level going into the play-offs.
Kick-off Friday is scheduled for 7pm at Welch Stadium.
The 8-Man play-off games will be played Thursday night.
In Division I
Madison host Solomon. This game will be broadcast on Country 101.7FM.
Lebo hosts Goessel
Chase County plays at Canton Galva.
In Division II
Waverly hosts Marmaton Valley.
Hartford plays at St. Paul.
Marais des Cygnes Valley is at Colony Crest.
In 1A
Olpe was scheduled to play Yates Center. Yates Center has forfeited due to lack of players.
Northern Heights plays at Lyndon.
In 2A
Osage City hosts Southeast Cherokee.
In 3A
Burlington hosts Galena.
