Oklahoma State out scored the Emporia State women 87-66 in an exhibition game Sunday.
The Cowgirls used an 8-0 run in the 1st quarter to take a 18-10 lead and never looked back. Oklahoma State out scored Emporia State 24-10 in the 2nd quarter to lead 42-20 at halftime.
Emporia State out scored the Cowgirls 46-45 in the 2nd half but never cut the deficit to less then 18 points. Emporia State Coach Toby Wynn was pleased with the way they competed.
Jessica Wayne led Emporia State in scoring with 16 points. She also had a team high 7 rebounds.
Tre’Zure Jobe added 13 points and Morgan Lauden finished with 11 points.
Oklahoma State was led by Vivian Gray with 20 points. Natasha Mack finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Sara Rodrigues and Ja’Mee Asberry both scored 10 points.
The Emporia State women play at Kansas in an Exhibition game Sunday, November 3rd.
