RES Americas is doing some bridge construction work near Reading this weekend.
The Lyon County Highway Department says RES will reconfigure what’s called a jump bridge about a quarter-mile south of Roads 240 and V. RES has already bolstered the culvert, but it is doing more work because the current structure isn’t wide enough for the heavy equipment coming through as work continues on the Reading Wind Facility nearby.
Work was originally planned for Halloween, but RES decided Saturday would be a more efficient work day. Traffic should return to normal Sunday or Monday.
