Emporia Main Street will be adding to the Halloween atmosphere this weekend.
Main Street has its annual Eek! Town tours both Friday and Saturday nights. Community Outreach Coordinator Jessica Buchholz says these are fun events to organize.
Tours run from 9-11:30 pm both nights. Tours officially start at the Main Street office, 727 Commercial, and include five stops:
*301 Commercial
*520 Commercial upstairs
*710 Commercial
*501 Merchant
*Mystery location
Tickets are $5 and available at Main Street or through www.emporiamainstreet.com.
Saturday, meanwhile, is reserved for trick-or-treating downtown from 11 am to 1 pm, overlapping some of the city’s Dia de los Muertos activities.
