A man accused of robbing three people at gunpoint this past spring will learn his fate this week.
Malik Dorsey was originally charged with three counts each of aggravated robbery and attempted aggravated robbery after taking shoes, a purse and belt at an Emporia apartment in late April. Dorsey pleaded no contest to one attempted aggravated burglary count last month. Thre remaining counts were dismissed.
The hearing is at 9:30 am Wednesday in Lyon County District Court.
An unnamed 15-year-old juvenile also allegedly involved has pleaded no contest to aggravated robbery in the case and was transferred to Shawnee County Juvenile Detention after his court proceedings ended locally.
