It was a rough day for the Emporia High volleyball team, they finished 0-4 in the Emporia Invitational Saturday.
They were swept by Washburn Rural, ranked 2nd in 6A, 25-11, 25-7.
They were defeated by Topeka Seaman, ranked 7th in 5A, 25-20, 25-12.
They lost to Maize 25-16, 25-22.
They were also swept by Lawrence Free State, ranked 9th in 6A, 25-14, 25-18.
The Lady Spartans will be playing in the Goddard Eisenhower Sub-State next Saturday.
