The Emporia State football team hosts #14 Central Missouri Saturday.
Emporia State Coach Garin Higgins is looking for more consistency offensively.
Freshman Dexton Swinehart is one of the top receivers for Emporia State and says getting use to the pace of the game has been a challenge.
Central Missouri leads the MIAA in points scored and total offense. Senior defensive end Parker Bass says they are ready for the challenge.
Kick-off for the Homecoming showdown is set for 2p at Welch Stadium. The game will be broadcast on MIX 104.9 beginning at 1pm.
