The Emporia High gymnastics team wrapped up the regular season with a 2nd place finish to Newton in a duel Monday night.
Karalyn Karjala celebrated senior night with a first place finish on the floor. She also placed 3rd on the vault, 5th on the bars and 3rd All-Around.
Junior Hattie Walker placed 4th All-Around, 5th on the Floor and 2nd on the bars.
Freshman Journey Walburn placed 6th All-Around, 3rd on the floor and 5th on the balance beam.
Jacey Stuttler tied for 6th on the floor.
Cadance Vincent tied for 6th on the vault.
and Riley Johnson placed 6th on the bars.
The Spartan gymnasts will now wait until next week to find out if they have qualified for State to be held October 26th.
