One man accused of rape in Lyon County has accepted a plea agreement to a lesser crime.
Alexander Babb has pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of sexual battery, according to Lyon County Attorney Marc Goodman. The 23-year-old was charged with one count of rape after an alleged incident in February.
The case has been sealed throughout the court proceedings, so no further details have been announced.
Sentencing is at 9 am Dec. 4.
