The Emporia High gymnastics team finished in 3rd place at the Newton Invitational Saturday.
The Lady Spartans had 11 top 10 finishes.
Karalyn Karjala placed 6th All-Around, 3rd on the floor exercise, 5th on the vault and 7th on the balance beam.
Journey Walburn placed 10th All-Around, 6th on the beam and 7th on the floor.
Hattie Walker placed 10th All-Around, 7th on the bar and 10th on the floor.
Riley Johnson placed 9th on the vault.
Lawrence Free State finished 1st place, Newton was 2nd and Lawrence finished in 4th place.
