Trial dates have now been set for one man accused of harming a fellow inmate during an altercation in the Lyon County Jail earlier this year.
Jury trial in the case of Marcel Wamser was set for Nov. 25 during a hearing in Lyon County District Court Friday.
Wamser faces one count of aggravated battery after an alleged incident at the jail May 21. Authorities say Wamser attacked a second inmate as he left the jail, causing several injuries and prompting treatment at Newman Regional Health afterward.
A final pretrial hearing will be held Nov. 20.
