The Sertoma Club’s annual scholarship fundraising breakfast will help to jumpstart the Saturday schedule.
Biscuits and gravy or biscuit sandwiches are on the menu. If last year is any indication, club member Alice Dreier is expecting a big crowd as the club raises money for nursing students at Emporia State University and Flint Hills Technical College.
The meal is at the Emporia Senior Center from 7-11 am and carryout is available. Tickets are $5 in advance or $6 at the door and available from any Sertoma Club member or from nursing students.
