The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has a new website available to help solve missing person cases.
The new site, kbi.ks.gov/missingpersons, was announced Tuesday. The site lets people search by name or county. People can also search by gender, age or date last seen.
In addition, the site lets people submit tips, sightings and other information — including anonymous info — directly to the KBI. Once information is typed in and submitted, the KBI will either investigate or forward the lead to the investigating law enforcement agency.
Links to the Kansas AMBER Alert and Silver Alert websites are also included as well as tips for what to do when somebody goes missing.
