Following a late delay last month, a Lyon County rape suspect has had another delay as court proceedings continue.
Alexander Babb, 23, faces one count of rape after an alleged incident in early February. The affidavit in the case is sealed, so no additional details have been released.
Babb was set a pretrial hearing at 4 pm Wednesday in Lyon County District Court with trial tentatively set to begin Monday. His final pretrial is now coming Oct. 9 with trial set for Oct. 14.
Both the final pretrial and trial were delayed last month after a defense motion to suppress certain statements was taken under advisement and later approved by Lyon County District Judge Jeff Larson.
