The Emporia State soccer team shutout Nebraska Kearney 2-0 Friday night.
Aislinn Hughes scored the first goal in the 42 minute of play.
Kennedy Hoffman scored the second goal in the 63rd minute of play.
Jillian Patton had two saves as the Lady Hornets out shot Kearney 14-2 on goal.
The Emporia State Soccer team is now 5-2 for the season.
They will open MIAA play at Fort Hays State on Sunday.
