Strong storms are expected across the KVOE listening area through Friday evening.
A severe thunderstorm watch now covers Lyon and all surrounding counties until 2 am Saturday. Hail to the size of tennis balls and wind gusts up to 75 mph are the main concerns, but an isolated tornado is also possible.
