Symphony in the Flint Hills and Camp Wood YMCA are once again collaborating to host WoodFest.
WoodFest is a two-day event with themes of music, art and of course, the Kansas prairie. The weekend event will be hosted at Camp Wood.
Activities begin on Saturday at 8:30 am and will go on sporadically until Sunday afternoon. Several award-winning musicians will be performing throughout the weekend.
Saturday, September 28
8:30-9:45 am: Breakfast and Registration
10:00-11:50 am: Morning Workshops
Noon-1:00 pm: Lunch
1:00-4:50 pm: Afternoon Workshops
5:00-6:30 pm: Dinner
7:00 pm: Sunset Concert
Sunday, September 29
8:00-9:30 am: Breakfast (additional fee required)
10:00 am: Morning Concert with Grammy-winning artist, Eugene Friesen
A limited number of spots are available at no cost for Chase and Morris County residents thanks to several donations. To register, call (620) 794-4657.
