Over 30 teams of disc golfers from 19 states are now competing for the US Amateur Match Play Doubles Championships.
Play is taking place at Friday at Peter Pan Park, with play shifting to Jones East and Jones West for Saturday and Sunday. Once again, Dynamic Discs is organizing the tourney, and store owner Jeremy Rusco is grateful for the interest in the sports — locally and nationally.
Teams qualified through a series of preliminary tournaments and advancing through different brackets in July and August. The championship bracket winner receives a $4,000 store credit at Dynamic Discs.
