The Emporia High boys soccer team defeated Topeka High 6-1 Thursday night.
The Spartans jumped out to a 3-0 and never looked back.
Coach Victor Ibarra was pleased with the win.
The Spartans were led by Elijah Williams 3 goals. Wilber Landaverde and Alvin Arriola also scored goals for the Spartans who are now 8-2 for the season and 4-1 in Centennial League play. They go to Manhattan next Thursday.
