Lyon County Deputies have apprehended a fugitive who fled a work release assignment last weekend.
According to Lyon County Sheriff’s Sgt. Danny Broyles, 33-year-old Antonio De Jesus Rodriguez was apprehended around 5 pm Tuesday evening following an anonymous tip. De Jesus Rodriguez had been missing since last Saturday after he failed to return to the Lyon County Detention Center from a work release assignment.
De Jesus Rodriguez was being held in the Lyon County Detention Center for felony possession of methamphetamine and other misdemeanour charges. De Jesus Rodriguez was apprehended without incident.
