The Emporia State volleyball team was swept by Washburn Tuesday night.
The 5th ranked Ichabods won 25-17, 25-16 and 28-26.
Emporia State Coach Bing Xu liked the way the Lady Hornets battled.
Mikayla Simons led the Emporia State offense with 7 kills. Emma Dixon had 16 assists. Rylie Fornelli led Emporia State with 10 digs.
The Lady Hornets fall to 4-7 for the season and 0-3 in MIAA play. They will host Missouri Western Thursday evening.
