The Kansas Jayhawks were out scored by West Virginia 29-24 in the Big-12 opener for both teams Saturday.
Quarterback Carter Stanley led the Kansas offense with 275 yards passing and three touchdowns, one to Kwamie Lassiter II and two Andrew Parchment including a 75 yard pass. Parchment finished with 132 total yards, his third 100+ yard game of the season, including his second in a row.
The Jayhawks are now 2-2 for the season and 0-1 in the Big 12.
The Jayhawks play at TCU next Saturday.
