Emporia had a taste of elegant film noir Saturday night at the Granada Theatre with a unique performance, Femme Fatale.
Many Emporia residents gathered at the Granada in a dinner theatre-style set up, complete with audience interaction from Femme Fatale’s live performer, Laura Ellis. The show is a mixture of classic film noir and live performance, featuring Ellis not only as a live performer, but a character in the film.
There was plenty of audience interaction in Ellis’ performance, engaging the audience with her acting and singing skills.
The show was reminiscent of 40’s and 50’s style music, taking the audience back a few decades with Ellis’ smooth vocals and believable performance.
