The Emporia High boys soccer team looks to stay undefeated in Centennial League play with a match at Highland Park Thursday.
The Spartans are 2-0 in league play and 6-1 for the season. Part of the reason for the success is the defensive effort. The Spartans have surrendered 8 goals this season. Sophomore Kevin Rios is a defensive midfielder.
Offensively this season the Spartans have scored 59 goals, averaging 8 goals a match.
