Mark Canha doubled with 2 on and 2 out in the bottom of the 11th and the Oakland A’s out scored the Kansas City Royals 1-0 Wednesday afternoon.
The Royals missed a chance to score a run in the top of the 11th when they left the bases loaded.
Royals batters struck out 19 times and left 6 runners on base.
Oakland stranded 7 base runners.
The Royals now head to Minneapolis for a 4 game series with the Twins beginning Thursday night.
