Canton Galva picked up a dominating 46-0 win over the Chase County Bulldogs Friday night.
The Eagles opened the scoring on their first drive with an 18-yard touchdown run by senior quarterback Landon Everett. Sophomore Tyson Struber scored two touchdowns thanks to a one-yard and 67-yard pass from Everett.
A five-yard completion to senior Kinser Colgin and another touchdown run from Everett would secure the win for the Eagles at the half. Canton Galva managed 312 yards of total offense and held Chase County to just 69 yards total.
Chase County head coach Brody Vandegrift says the Eagles executed well throughout the game.
Vandegrift says despite the loss, this was a great learning experience for his team.
With the win Canton Galva now improves to 2-0 on the season as Chase County falls to 1-1.
