Bond election updates and early learning facility discussions will continue to be the primary focus of the USD 253 Board of Education meeting Wednesday.
Superintendent Kevin Case will present an update on the timeline for the $78 million bond election coming during the Nov. 5 general election. In addition, HTK Architects will continue discussions on the process of constructing a new Early Learning Facility to replace Maynard Early Childhood Center.
A memorandum of understanding with the Lyon County Extension Council for a SNAP-ED grant will also be presented for the board’s consideration. The purchase of three SUV’s for transportation purposes will also be considered.
One executive session is planned. The meeting begins at 7 pm inside the Mary Herbert Education Center.
