Part of a Lyon County road north of Emporia is now closed.
The Lyon County Highway Department has closed Road 260 between J and K, about eight miles north of Emporia. A culvert is getting replaced, and the project could take up to eight weeks to complete.
Meanwhile, a road east of Olpe is reopening later this week after a similar project. Road P-5 between Roads 83 and 90, roughly five miles east of Olpe, will open Friday.
