The Emporia State football team kicks off their season aginst Northeastern State Thursday night. One of the big questions for the Hornets will be, who will provide the offense?
Graduated from last year are the starting quarterback, the leading running back and the top 5 receivers.
The Starters in Thursdays game will be sophomore Dalton Cowan at quarterback, Senior Kai Callins at running back. At receiver sophomores Corey Thomas and Cole Schumacher and red shirt freshman Will Amos. Coach Garin Higgins says this a hard working group of players.
Kick-off for Thursdays game is set for 7pm at Welch Stadium.
