The Emporia High girls golf team finished in 2nd place in the 6 team Emporia High invitational Tuesday.
Freshman Avery Eckert led the way finishing in a tie for 3rd place with a 48.
Drue Davis finished 6th with a 51. Olivia Eckert tied for 17th place with a 58, Veronica Blankley tied for 20th with a 59 and Jenna Fessler tied for 23rd place with a 61.
Winfield took team honors, Seaman was 3rd, Wichita Southeast 4th, Council Grove 5th and Shawnee Heights 6th.
The Emporia High golfers next go to Salina next Tuesday for a tournament.
