A preliminary hearing is on Tuesday’s docket after an alleged battery incident inside the Lyon County Jail earlier this year.
Marcel Wamser has a hearing at 2:30 pm in Lyon County District Court. He’s accused of one count of aggravated battery after a reported altercation May 21 involving Wamser and a second inmate. Wamser’s accused of attacking a second inmate, with injuries prompting medical treatment at Newman Regional Health afterward.
Wamser was supposed to have the hearing last month but that was delayed for a competency evaluation.
