The Humane Society of the Flint Hills has reached their donation goal to be able to construct ten dog houses to give away to in-need families.
An application and selection process will determine where these dog houses will be donated. Executive Director of the Humane Society Caitlin Flood explains criteria to qualify.
Last year the Humane Society was only able to build five dog houses, so the number has since doubled this year. Flood gives the timeline for when the dog houses will be ready for pick up.
