The Emporia State soccer team has been picked 4th in the MIAA Coaches Preseason poll.
This comes off a season that saw them finish in 3rd place last season and advanced to the NCAA Central Regional tournament.
Central Oklahoma is picked number 1 with 7 first place votes.
Central Missouri is 2nd with 5 first place votes. Fort Hays State is 3rd.
After Emporia State its Missouri Western, Rogers State, Northeastern State, Newman, Washburn, Nebraska Kearney, Missouri Southern and Northwest Missouri State are tied for 11th place.
The Lady Hornets kick-off their season September 6th against Rockhurst.
