The Emporia High girls golf team is 2 days away from beginning their season.
There are 5 players on this years team including Senior Drue Davis.
Junior Veronica Blankley also returns. Davis and Blankley have state experience. Coach Rick Eckert says both will need to lead the way.
The Emporia High girls golf team opens their season Thursday playing in the Shawnee Heights Invitational. Emporia High will be hosting a tournament next Tuesday.
