We could get some thunderstorm activity by mid-afternoon across the KVOE listening area, and we could also see a few strong storms before sunset.
Currently, there is a marginal-to-slight severe weather risk areawide, so TV-13 meteorologist Doug Meyers says the storm forecast hinges on several factors.
The overall risk level may be low, but Meyers says all hazards are possible for a short period of time after storms develop. Any severe weather risk should be clear of the area by sunset, if not sooner.
