One man accused of sexual activity with a minor is set to be in Lyon County District Court for a hearing Monday.
Lucio Meza-Oliva is slated for a preliminary hearing at 2 pm. He’s accused of single counts of indecent solicitation, indecent liberties and aggravated witness intimidation for alleged acts against a 16-year-old child. Case details have not been announced with the affidavit currently sealed.
The hearing was first scheduled for mid-July, but that was delayed because the alleged victim is out of the country. Defense attorney James Bordonaro has asked the court to dismiss the case, saying prosecutors have not shown sufficient good cause with the alleged victim not available last month.
