Two people were hurt and later taken to Newman Regional Health after a crash in east Emporia on Thursday.
The crash near Sixth and Whildin was reported around 4:30 pm. Police Officer Gabe Withington tells KVOE News two vehicles, an SUV and minivan, were eastbound on Sixth. The SUV driver was in the process of turning north when the van rear-ended it.
Minor injuries were reported to two people. One went to Newman Regional Health by private vehicle, while another was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Further details are pending.
