Emporia Public Schools says a situation involving an inappropriate social media comment has been resolved.
The Community Relations Department says an Emporia Middle School student made the comment Tuesday evening. School officials and the Emporia Police Department investigated and later detemined the comment posed no threat to the school community.
The nature of the comment is not being divulged. The district has not said whether the student is facing any disciplinary action.
