The High School fall sports season in Kansas can begin Monday with the first day of practices for all the fall sports.
In the Catch It Kansas preseason football rankings Emporia High is ranked 9th in 5A.
A couple of area teams are also ranked:
Olpe 5th in 1A and Madison 2nd in 8 man division 1.
