The Kansas City Chiefs were defeated by the Pittsburgh Steelers 17-7 in preseason action Saturday night.
The start of the game was delayed by an hour due to weather.
The lone touchdown for the Chiefs was a 17 yard pass from Chad Henne to Mecole Hardman. It tied the game at 7 in the 2nd quarter. The Chiefs turned the ball over 3 times while coming away with a fumble recover and an interception.
Patrick Mahomes completed 2 of 5 passes.
Coach Andy Reid said it was a good learning opportunity.
The Chiefs return to Kansas City to continue preseason practices. They will host the San Francisco 49ers next Saturday.
