A woman and two of her children were killed in a fire in Burlington early Friday.
KVOE’s television partner WIBW in Topeka says firefighters were called to the 200 block of Hudson shortly before 5 am. The fire engulfed the home before it was put out.
A man escaped but suffered apparently severe burns afterward. The man was not part of the family, according to WIBW-TV.
Names have not been released pending notification. Further details will be announced at a later time.
