In addition to the severe thunderstorm risk, parts of the KVOE listening area will deal with a flooding risk overnight.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Osage and Wabaunsee counties from 10 pm Friday through Saturday morning. As much as four inches of rain are possible after severe thunderstorms dumped heavy rain on those counties late Thursday night and early Friday morning.
Heavy rain is also possible out of the flash flood watch Friday night and Saturday morning.
Lyon and all surrounding counties are in a slight severe weather risk through the overnight hours, specifically for hail and high wind.
