A celebratory dinner will wrap up the fifth annual SOS Strong Campaign Thursday evening.
The SOS Strong Celebration dinner will be held at 6 pm inside the Lyon County State Bank meeting room. The steak dinner will be provided by the SOS Board of Directors and Lucas Moody of SOS describes the evening as a time of celebration and reflection.
For the past five years, 20 men from Lyon and surrounding counties have been selected to participate in the fundraiser. Each of the men involved is tasked with raising $1,000 each to benefit SOS and their numerous programs while also raising awareness and sparking conversations on the topic of domestic violence. Moody says when it comes to the participants, SOS strives to find men who will be dedicated and active in helping foster a foundation of change.
