With the overwhelming success of the Big Chill Fundraising Run last December, Communities in Schools (CIS) Mid-America has decided to once again host the event.
CIS Director of Communications Victoria Partridge talks about the Big Chill itself and its impact on the organization.
The Big Chill will feature three different races with three different registration prices – a 5K for $20, a 10K for $30, and a half-marathon for $40. Last year, most of the nearly 170 participants took part in the half-marathon.
Partridge explains her favorite part of last year’s fundraiser and also explains what CIS Mid-America does.
