Thursday is an off day for the Kansas City Chiefs at training camp.
Wednesday the Chiefs had their morning practice altered due to weather. After starting outdoors they finished indoors. Coach Andy Reid said they were able to accomplish what they needed to.
Second-year player Tremon Smith was the big news of the day as the former sixth-round pick made the switch from cornerback to runnningback.
The Chiefs return to the practice field Friday. Their first preseason game will be next Saturday, August 10th against Cincinnati.
