With several rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall forecasted in the coming days, the National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for portions of the KVOE listening area.
The watch goes into effect at midnight Wednesday and will remain in effect until Saturday morning. Counties covered in the watch include Lyon, Coffey, Osage and Wabaunsee.
The highest chance for rainfall according to NWS are during the evening and overnight hours each day through Saturday morning. We’ll keep you updated on KVOE and KVOE.com.
