Emporia Fire crews made quick work of a vehicle fire which developed in the 1100 block of State Street Saturday evening.
Crews were toned out shortly before 10 pm, according to dispatch the vehicle was fully engulfed at the time of the call. Battalion Chief Eron Steinlage tells KVOE News the fire was “fully involved in the engine compartment.”
No injuries were reported and the fire was contained to the vehicle and did not spread to a home roughly 15 feet away. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
